We will give estimates on repairs that exceed $150 if requested by the customer.

Special  Projects

Music Technology will quote any special projects for upgrades or custom units.

General Policies

A diagnostic fee will be collected on each unit in advance to cover time for disassembly, diagnostic test and re-assembly. Customer is responsible for backing up sound and program data which may be lost during repairs. Music technology is not  responsible for cosmetic damage to equipment checked in without protective covering (box, case, etc.).

Warranty Repair Policies

Factory warranty repair will only be initiated after a purchase or shop receipt has been received. Possible charges on units checked in as warranty: (a) expenses not covered by the manufacturer including shipping; (b) parts and/or labor charges which fail to meet warranty guidelines; (c) labor charges on a unit which exhibits no defects, or exhibits a problem as a result of operator error.

Shop Warranty

FOR A PERIOD OF 90 DAYS FROM THE COMPLETION OF REPAIRS, we will correct at no LABOR charge any defective workmanship performed by Music Technology Inc. We will not warranty unrelated problems. We do not warranty parts. Certain parts and sub-assemblies may carry a warranty from the manufacturer. Units that have been abused or altered will not be covered by this warranty. Here is the list of manufacturers by whom we are authorized to perform repairs.

VISA, MasterCard, and Cash are accepted.  No Checks.
